A few weeks ago I was given the honor of Homecoming Queen of the Class of 2014. This was a monumental experience for me. It was a humbling experience that made me realize that all my work for DECA and Career Technical Education and my relationships had led my fellow classmates to love and respect me. I had never felt so happy about something I did in my life before. This experience made me promise myself to keep giving back to the community and always being true to myself.
